To solve such a problem of a blackboard support, which has a leg to be set on the ground or floor and a recessed groove to pinch the bottom rim of the blackboard and vertically supports the blackboard by pinching the bottom rim of the blackboard in the recessed groove, that the extending direction of the leg matches with the extending direction of the bottom rim of the pinched blackboard, and therefore the blackboard support and the blackboard are likely to fall down together if force is applied onto the surface of the blackboard in the direction intersecting with the surface of the blackboard.
The blackboard support includes: a blackboard support portion 2 having a groove portion 6 of a top opening 5 for pinching the bottom rim of the blackboard 4 in the anteroposterior direction of the blackboard 4 to enable the blackboard 4 to support itself; and a leg portion 3 which is provided on both ends of the blackboard support portion 2 and is extended in the anteroposterior direction of the blackboard 4 pinched in the groove 6.
