PURPOSE: To make the adaptation applicable to recording peripheral machinery possible, by supplying an amorphous solid ink material, whose adhesiveness is changed according to the polarity of voltage to be applied, between a pair of electrodes and bonding the above mentioned amorphous solid ink material to either one of the electrodes preferentially to transfer the same and subsequently cleaning the amorphous solid residue.
CONSTITUTION: An ink material layer 102 is formed by rotating an ink carrier roll 101 and a coating roll 104 and, next, the first ink thin layer 106 is formed to the first intermediate roll 105 and the second ink thin film 108 is subsequently formed to the second intermediate roll 107 and the ink of the thin layer 108 is transferred to the image part of the printing plate 110 on a plate roll 109. Then, the ink of the image part on the plate 110 is transferred to the conductive blanket 112 on a blanket roll 111 and an ink image is formed on the material 114 to be recorded passing between the blanket roll 111 and a press roll 113. After the finish of printing, voltage is respectively applied between the rolls 105, 101, between the rolls 105, 101 and between the rolls 111, 115 to absorb the ink by the roll 101 and the residual ink on the roll 111 is removed.
