Abstract:

To provide an apparatus for stress-strain curve calculation, which can calculate a strain-rate-dependent stress-strain curve for a soft foamed material.

In the method for stress-strain curve calculation, a control unit 13 inputs experimental data (=an excitation frequency, a load acting on a test piece 1, and the displacement of the test piece 1) of an excitation experiment conducted at a certain excitation frequency (S101). The control unit 13 calculates a load after inertial force correction (S102) to calculate the strain, strain rate, and stress of the test piece 1 (S103). The control unit 13 plots the ternary data of the strain, strain rate, and stress calculated in S103 in a three-dimensional scattergram (S104). The control unit 13 checks whether or not processing for all the experimented excitation frequencies has ended (S105). When the processing has ended, the control unit 13 performs interpolation processing on the point groups in the three-dimensional scattergram produced in S104 to produce a stress response curved surface and stores it in a storage unit 15 (S106).
