To remove an ink pigment easily and in a short time and thereby to regenerate a waste liquid continuously by a simple constitution.
This apparatus for regenerating the waste liquid, which regenerates the waste liquid 30 containing the charged ink pigment 31, conductive water 32 and an insulating cleaning liquid 33, is equipped with a waste liquid regenerating vessel 1 which is covered inside with an insulator 1b and regenerates the waste liquid 30, a plurality of flat-plate-shaped metal electrode plates 2a, 2b and 2c of which the surfaces are covered with the insulator and which are disposed vertically inside the waste liquid regenerating vessel 1, spaced from and made opposite to each other, a plurality of flat-plate-shaped ground electrode plates 3a, 3b and 3c which are disposed in the vessel 1 so that they are opposite to the metal electrode plates 2a, 2b and 2c at a prescribed space therefrom and can be extracted upward, and a high-voltage power supply 4 which impresses a voltage on the metal electrode plates 2a, 2b and 2c.
