Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for transporting globular substances such as preforms capable of efficiently transporting a great number of the globular substances to the following stage.
SOLUTION: This transporting apparatus 10 is equipped with a tray 20 for placing plural preforms for molding optical elements. The tray 20 has a recessed part 22 for receiving one preform on a face placing the preforms. The transporting apparatus 10 has an oscillating means 30 for the trays 20 to carry out at least a first oscillation for moving the preforms on the tray 20 so as to make the recessed part 22 receive one of the preforms and a second oscillation so as to make the other performs move and separate from the received preform while the preform being received in the recessed part 22 and a transporting means 50 for carrying out the preform received in the recessed part 22 in a state of the preform separated from the other preforms.
