Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus that requires no redundant mechanism, allows an easy installation and is for reducing damage caused by an inappropriate operation.SOLUTION: An apparatus includes: an error operation detection part for detecting an inappropriate operation on a vehicle usably incorporated with on-vehicle equipment; and a damage suppression control part for performing control for suppressing damage caused by an inappropriate operation in the case of the error operation detection part detecting the inappropriate operation. Further, at least one the error operation detection part and damage suppression control part transmits or receives an input signal to the on-vehicle equipment or an output signal therefrom so as to use the signal for a purpose different from a purpose within the on-vehicle equipment.
