Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To flocculate an oil component in waste water to remove the same by providing electrode plates different in polarity to both side parts in a rectangular parallelepiped housing place in a trough of a culvert and providing an air bubble generation plate to the rear surface of the housing.
SOLUTION: Electrode plates 4, 5 different in polarity are provided to both side parts in a rectangular parallelepiped housing place in a trough of a culvert A and an air bubble generating plate having a large number of jet orifices bored in the rear and upper surfaces of the housing. A metal waste plate 6 having the same material as an anode plate is housed in the housing. Electricities different in polarity are supplied to electrode plates 4, 5. Whereupon, the giving and receiving of electrodes starts between the anode plate and the cathode plate and these electrodes flocculate a charged suspended waste water to generate floc generate oil-water separation. The oil component attracted to the electrode plate on the cathode side is adhere to air bubbles based on generated air bubble from the air generating plate 7 to rise to be excluded into the housing 1.
