An eliminator 40 for the coating material mist, which has a cooling pipe 400 for passing cooling water 10 through the pipe is provided to the coating material mist collecting part 4, the water moisture in a gas sent from the coating booth 3 and having fixed humidity is dew-condensed on the surface of the cooling pipe 400 of the eliminator 40 for the coating material mist, the coating material mist is collected by the dew-condensed water and the dew-condensed water containing the coating material mist is dropped from the surface of the cooling pipe 400 to collect the dew-condensed water in the water collecting part 5 and the collected water is discharged to the waste water treatment facility through the waste water pipe 6 from the water collecting part 5.
