To provide a nucleic acid-refining apparatus capable of readily carrying out operation and surely refining a nucleic acid.
A nucleic acid-refining technique using a chip for catching a nucleic acid, including a solid phase containing a nucleic acid-catching material, in which the periphery of an opening installed at the top is uneven. A prescribed space is formed between the chip for catching the nucleic acid and a container keeping a nucleic acid-containing sample by only pressing the outer edge of an opening against the container. A sucking or discharging state of the nucleic acid-containing sample is stabilized, because the nucleic acid-containing sample can be sucked and discharged from the space into the chip for catching the nucleic acid. Namely, the nucleic acid can surely be refined without needing a skilled person by only pressing the chip for catching the nucleic acid against the container.
