To provide an apparatus for removing foreign matters for a sausage production line, with which in the commercialization of product of mutually separated sausage by making chained packed sausage in which an internal raw material is divided into parts in fixed length by using an artificial casing, removing the casing in the middle of the treatment of the packed sausage, foreign matters such as chips of the casing, etc., attached to the sausage are efficiently removed without depending upon visual observation.
A draining board body 2 is arranged slantingly downward ahead the sausage output port 3 of a casing peeling machine 1. The draining board body 2 is covered with a cover body 4. The rear part of the cover body is connected to external suction mechanism 5. A high-speed air flow in the backward direction is produced at the draining board body part in the cover body. A sausage drop port 21 is arranged at the front of the draining board body and at the lower part of the cover body.
