Title:
APPARATUS FOR REMOVING UNDERWATER SEDIMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3281774
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject apparatus capable of readily removing bait, discharged material, etc., of fishes deposited under underwater crawl without polluting water area in the periphery by sucking and removing underwater sediment through a suction pipe while moving a barge body in water.
SOLUTION: A suction pump 6 is operated while submerging and moving a barge body 2 in water by a means controlling and operating the barge body 2 and the suction pump 6 from the land. Thereby, sediment in water is sucked through a suction pipe 5 and recovered into a recovery cage 7. Furthermore, the sediment recovered in the recovery cage may be carried to a prescribed place by moving the barge body 2. A means for controlling and operating the barge body 2 and the suction pump 6 is constituted of a control chamber 13 installed on land, a power source, a control unit 10, a charging and discharging tank 3 for submerging and floating the barge body 2 and a screw 4, etc., for moving the barge body 2. The suction pipe 5 is rotated or made to look up and down, e.g. by actuators 8 and 9.
