Abstract:

To provide an apparatus for separating resin particles, which can continuously separate resin particles, such as resin flakes, having different compositions, according to the compositions.

The apparatus for separating a mixture of resin particles including first resin particles and second resin particles, according to the compositions comprises: a separation tank 10 in which a separation liquid 11 is housed; a pump 12 which is connected to the separation tank through piping and circulates the separation liquid so that a flow of the separation liquid is generated from one side to the other side; a bubble feeder 13 disposed on the bottom of the separation tank in a separation region through which the flow of the separation liquid passes; and a resin particle feeder 20 which puts the mixture of resin particles in the separation liquid at the upstream part of the separation region, wherein, when the mixture of resin particles is put, bubbles are fed from the bubble feeder and the resin particles are moved in the flow direction DR, whereby the resin particles are separated into resin particles incorporated into a bubble part 14 comprising bubbles, resin particles floating near the surface of the separation liquid and/or resin particles settling on the bottom of the separation tank.
