To provide a sheet sticking apparatus and a sticking method which enable an adhesive sheet having a standing portion raised to be surely stuck to a sticking target.

The standing portion S2 urged in a direction of coming farther away from a release sheet RL is guided to a raising means 3 for raising the standing portion S2, whereby the raising means 3 can be surely brought between the release sheet RL and the standing portion S2 of the adhesive sheet S to permit the standing portion S2 to be surely raised. Therefore, a predetermined operation of releasing the adhesive sheet S having the standing portion S2 raised from the release sheet RL and sticking to the sticking target W can surely take place. Thus, stability of the sticking operation can be improved by preventing trouble of the apparatus or a failure in sticking.
