Abstract:

To improve the desulfurizing, denitrifying and dust removing efficiencies by installing a moving layer reactor to meet the physical properties of exhaust gas generated in the step of manufacturing sintered ore of an iron making raw material.

This apparatus for treating the exhaust gas of a DL type sintering machine comprises an exhaust gas treating system divided into two systems, a moving layer reactor 4 filled with manganese ore catalyst in the first system 3 and connected to a wind box group 2 of a sintering machine former half, moving layer reactors 14a, 14b of first and second stages similarly filled with manganese ore catalysts and connected in series with the second system 13 and connected to a wind box group 12 of a sintering machine latter half to mainly conduct denitrifying and dust removing in the first system and to mainly conduct desulfurizing, denitrifying and dust removing in the second system, thereby to reduce the costs of the facility and operation.
