Abstract:

To prevent a trouble in operation such as the one in which a magnet is drawn with a sintered ore and further to enable a magnetic floating effect to be increased by a method wherein a gap value between the lower surface of the magnet and the sintered ore is calculated and the magnet is moved when the gap value between a sintering surface and the lower surface of the magnet in a region of the lower surface of the magnet may become zero.

A plurality of retracting magnets M are mounted at the upper part of a sintered ore 10 while being oppositely faced against the surface layer of sintered ore 10 generated on a pallet between an igniting position of an ignition furnace for igniting a surface layer of raw material of the sintered ore 10 to a sintered ore discharging position of the pallets connected in endless form. Then, there are provided a plurality of lifting devices R for use in moving the retracting magnets M and a plurality of gap sensors gs, gm for use is detecting the sintered surface and the position of the magnet. A controller Co may calculate a gap value between the lower surface of the magnet and the sintered ore in reference to the gap detected values Gs, Gm of the gap sensors gs, gm, moves the magnet as the gap value at the lower surface region of the magnet may become zero so as to avoid a crushing between them.
