To provide an apparatus for treating powder, capable of adjusting an amount of raw materials, without greatly reforming the apparatus itself.
At the upper portion of a raw material container 22b there is detachably disposed an adjustment container 51 formed into a truncated-cone shape which is for use in treating a small amount of raw material. The adjustment container 51 is formed of a transparent material and comprises a tapered portion 52, a flange portion 53 integrally formed with the tapered portion 52, and a ring-shaped plate 55 fixed to the flange portion 53 by virtue of a bolt 54. Moreover, a perforated plate 61 is held between the flange portion 53 and the ring-shaped plate 55. When the adjustment container 51 is utilized to perform a granulation coating treatment, a fluid-bed and a spray-gun becomes closer to each other, thereby ensuring an appropriate treatment condition. In addition, it is also possible to observe the situation within the adjustment-container 51 through a peep-hole 62 disposed on the raw-material container 22b, thereby making it easy to grasp a powder treatment condition from the outside of the apparatus even when a treatment amount is small.
