To reduce hardware modification, such as addition of control software and signal line, as much as possible even in adding and changing a load when performing control for each load according to a state of a rechargeable battery in an apparatus composed by connecting a plurality of loads to the rechargeable battery.
In the apparatus including the plurality of loads and the rechargeable battery for supplying power to the loads, each load includes a switching element for opening and closing a connection between the load and the rechargeable battery, and a controller for controlling the switching element and holding peculiar information on each load. The apparatus includes a state detector for detecting the state of the rechargeable battery and transmitting a state parameter signal on the detected state of the rechargeable battery to the controller by power line communication via a power supply line. The controller includes a function of checking up the state parameter signal with the peculiar information, operating the switching element, and interrupting or starting the supply of power to the loads.
