Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe applicator for dropping liquid chemical, capable of readily accurately dropping and applying a required amount of medicine on a desired narrow site and suppressing hospital infection by pathogenic bacteria.
SOLUTION: The applicator 11 is equipped with a cylinder 1, a pouring tube 2 provided at one end of the cylinder 1, a piston 12 for preventing the reverse action thereof which is slidably fitted within the cylinder and having a suitable frictional force between the inner wall of the cylinder and itself, a pressing piston 13 which is slidably fitted within the cylinder and having a suitable frictional force between the inner wall of the cylinder and itself, and a piston rod 4 having one end fixed to the pressing piston 13 and the other end protruded from the end of the cylinder. The pouring tube is covered with a cap 15 having a closed-tip 17.
