Abstract:
To provide a water-based coating agent for a steel material, which can give a coating film excellent in adhesion, corrosion resistance, acid resistance, alkali resistance, and solvent resistance and is desirable for coating steel materials such as zinc-coated steel and aluminum-coated steel, to provide a method for coating a steel material therewith, and to provide a steel material coated therewith.
The water-based coating agent comprises 1 to 50 mass% water-based resin, 0.01 to 30 mass% guanidine compound, and 1 to 50 mass% silane coupling agent.
