Abstract:
To impart, to a porous substrate or a laminate of hard substrates, satisfactory strength, hardness sufficient to restrain the generation of depressions, adhesion strength, heat resistance and the like, without diffusion of harmful substances such as formaldehyde.
Use is made of an aqueous dispersion of a (meth)acrylic resin which is obtained by incorporating a polyisocyanate compound as a curing agent into a mixed dispersion containing a (meth)acrylic resin emulsion, a filler, starch and a water-soluble polymer other than starch.
