Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous dispersion of a resin, which shows superior dispersibility as a dispersing (auxiliary) agent for a resin particle, and also shows superior viscosity characteristics and solvent dissolution resistance when used for producing the resin particle through a dissolved resin suspension method.SOLUTION: An aqueous dispersion of a resin (C) is prepared by dispersing resin particles (B) containing a resin (A) in an aqueous medium. The resin (A) is a resin having at least one group selected from the group consisting of a carboxylate group, a sulfonate group, a sulfamate group and a phosphate group. A valence of a base constituting the carboxylate group, the sulfonate group, the sulfamate group or the phosphate group is 2 or more. HLB of (A) is 5-9. A volume average particle diameter of (B) is 20-500 nm.
