Abstract:
To provide a bifunctional aqueous epoxy resin composition having excellent preservation stability, corrosion resistance, adhesion or the like, and a method for producing the cured product thereof.
The aqueous epoxy resin composition contains a bifunctional epoxy resin having a structure of formula (1) [wherein, R1, R2, R3, R4and R5may be the same or different, and are each a hydrogen atom or a 1-4C alkyl group; R6, R7and R8may be the same or different, and are each a 1-4C alkyl group; R is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; X is a single bond or a 1-4C alkylene chain; Q is a nitrogen atom or a phosphorus atom; and Y is a chlorine atom, a bromine atom, an iodine atom or a hydroxy group] and epoxy groups at both terminals of the molecule, and water. The method for producing the cured product thereof is also provided.
