To obtain a floor polish composition having excellent leveling without using an organophosphorus leveling agent such as tributoxyethyl phosphate, and a floor polish composition which makes attached water drops spread by hydrophilizing the surface of a coating film, is rapidly dried and does not make a person uncomfortable even by walking barefeet on a floor.
The floor polish composition comprises a water-soluble acrylic resin having 30-100°C glass transition temperature of resin solid content and 30-120 mgKOH/g acid value and a compound represented by chemical formula (R is an aliphatic alcohol residue; m and n are each an integer and m+n=2-8) obtained by adding an alkylene oxide to one or more kinds of aliphatic alcohols selected from the group consisting of 3,5,5-trimethylhexanol, isodecyl alcohol, isoundecyl alcohol and isotridecyl alcohol.
