To provide an aqueous ink for inkjet recording excellent in dischargeability and printing density and having a low viscosity, a method for producing the same, and an aqueous colorant dispersion used for the same which is excellent in storage stability.
The aqueous ink for inkjet recording includes polymer particles (A) containing a colorant obtained by dispersing the colorant with a water-soluble polymer (x) and a water-insoluble polymer (y), a water-soluble organic solvent (B), and water. The weight ratio [(y)/(x)] of the water-insoluble polymer (y) to the water-soluble polymer (x) is 2.0-5.0. The content of the water-soluble organic solvent (B) is 10 to 70 wt.%. There are also provided a method for producing the aqueous ink for inkjet recording and an aqueous colorant dispersion for inkjet recording used for the same.
