PURPOSE: To provide the subject aqueous preparation which is superior in water- proof and elastic properties in a fixed state by including specific plastic particles, an inorganic filler, an emulsifier, an external plasticizer and water.
CONSTITUTION: The subject aqueous preparation containing plastic particles, 3-30 wt.%, the inorganic filler (e.g.: quartz powder), 40-90 wt.%, an effective amount of the emulsifier, the external plasticizer (e.g.: an acetic ester of diethylene glycol monobutyl ether), 0-15 wt.%, and water, 5-40%, is provided by blending, stirring simultaneously, an inorganic filler or the like with an aqueous dispersed liquid of the plastic particles comprising a polymer with a glass transition temperature of (-60-+40°C), which is obtained by emulsion polymerization by adding an emulsifier (e.g.: a sodium salt of ethoxilated and sulfated p-isooctyl phenol) to a monomer mixture comprising, for example, a mercaptosilane (e.g.: mercaptopropyl trimethoxy silane) shown by the formula ((n) is 1-8; R1-2 are H, 1-4C alkoxy; R3-5 are 1-6C alkyl, 1-6C alkoxy), 0.1-4 wt.%, and a radically polymerizable ethylenic unsaturated monomer residue (e.g.: n-butyl acrylate, acrylic acid or styrene).
