Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain architectural building blocks which are made of an easily transportable molded plastic material and relatively inexpensive and light-weight and further, provided with the external surface excellent in impact resistance and abrasion-resistance.
CONSTITUTION: This block comprises a plurality of hollow half members jointed together along a seam to form a hollow block enclosure with the seam spaced intermediately between a pair of opposite planar outer side faces of the block 10. At least one of the outer opposite side faces of the block is provided with a thin, hard, transparent, and abrasion- and chemical and ultraviolet ray-resistant protective coating.
