PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of odor during press work of heat exchanger Al fin materials and obtain materials which emit aromas during cooling/heating operation of a heat exchanger which uses the above fin materials.

CONSTITUTION: There is formed a hydrophilic film which comprises a moisture dispersion silica mixed with a microcapsule which includes aromas and a hydrophilic organic resin on the surface of a heat exchanger Al fin material. The hydrophilic film is arranged to contain an antimold by 1 to 30% and further an interfacial active agent by 1 to 20%. It is better to provide a coat-type chromate film treatment which includes a chrome acid chromate film or organic resin for the base treatment.
