This device for attaching or detaching a payload to or from a structure 110 of space station is provided with a connection member 410, alignment guide 420 and connection mechanism 430. The member 410 is attached to a main body 210 of the payload, the alignment guide 420 is provided with guide members 421A-421F which are arranged at a base 440 of the structure 110 to form a capture region for the connection member 410. A guide surface 422 is formed on a slant surface of each guide 421A-421F and a plurality of rollers 424 elastically supported by a spring 426 while retained rotatably to a slide 425 is assembled in each guide surface 422.
