Abstract:
To enable an efficient grasp of the height position of an article while suppressing the cost.SOLUTION: An article management system of the invention comprises: at least one first wireless device installed at a known location and storing first identification information; a second wireless device attached to an article and storing second identification information; at least one reader that moves with a moving vehicle and is equipped with a reader that can read identification information stored in the wireless device from the wireless device and a measuring unit that measures air pressure; and an estimation unit that estimates the height position of the article based on a first air pressure value measured when the first identification information is read from the at least one first wireless device by the at least one reader, and a second air pressure value measured when the second identification information is read from the second wireless device by the at least one reader.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
