Title:
ARTIFICIAL LIVING THING TOY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3696685
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial living thing which can be easily petted by an old person or the like, and let it see like a real living thing especially in memorizing words, etc., by providing perception sensors disposed at respective parts of a body of the artificial living thing to select a preliminarily provided action mode corresponding to contents of external information received to move each part of the body.
SOLUTION: For example, in an artificial living thing toy of a myna, various perception sensors 3 and actuators 4 for generating voice or making proper motion are stored. For example, brightness around it is detected by an optical sensor 31 of the perception sensors 3, and an electric signal is inputted to an action control part 2. An action mode corresponding to the inputted signal is thus taken from an action mode memory part 5, and the actuators 4 for applicable parts are respectively actuated. In this case, it is composed to memorize contents taught, and forget the contents at a specified time after that. In addition, when it is called through a microphone 35, its answer or action differs based on if a detected temperature by a temperature sensor 35 is high or low.
