Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a stable damping force characteristics in a rotary dumper by providing the wear resistance property of the member which seals peripheral surfaces of a separate block and a vane and the sealing property at the high temperature.
SOLUTION: Sealers 15a, 15b are formed in the form of U to attach between a separate block located on a casing and the outer periphery of a vane extending from a rotor so as to form a plurality of projecting lips 18 longitudinally along with the inner and outer circumferences of the seal member 15a, 15b. In addition among the recesses formed by the lips 18 therebetween, the recesses 17 at the outer corner edge are filled to plane surface, or the depth of recesses 17 is to be shallower than in other portion with protrusive lips 18 at the corner edge being slightly retained.
