Title:
ASEISMATIC REINFORCING STRUCTURE FOR PILE FOUNDATION STRUCTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3855198
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide aseismatic reinforcing structure capable of reducing horizontal force applied to existing piles in case of an earthquake without increasing vertical load to a pile foundation of an existing or newly-constructed structure.
SOLUTION: Horizontal displacement suppressing frame structure 10 bearing horizontal force in the earthquake through an insulating layer 20 is constructed to surround the outer peripheral surface of a footing 3 of a pile foundation structure. Retaining wall structure 11 constructed so that a rising wall part surrounds the outer peripheral surface of the footing 3 through the insulating layer 20 can be used as the horizontal displacement suppressing frame structure 10. When seismic force is applied in this aseismatic reinforcing structure, the retaining wall structure 11 resists the horizontal force in the earthquake by the friction of the lower face of a bottom slab with the ground surface to reduce the horizontal force burden of the existing piles 2.
