PURPOSE: To simply position upper and lower floors with a high accuracy by providing two upper and lower rack plates vertically spaced from each other on any one of floors of inner and outer hulls and mounting a locating member to the other floor to combine lowering and lateral shift.
CONSTITUTION: In assembling inner and outer hull blocks 21, 22, first the inner hull block 21 having a locating member 27 at the underside is hung up and then lowered such that the tip of the locating member 27 abuts against a lower rack plate 33 of a floor 31 as a reinforcement for the outer hull block 22. Then, the vertical positions of a floor 25 of the inner hull block 21 and a floor 31 of the outer hull block 22 are regulated to dispose both reinforcements in predetermined positions. Next, the inner hull block 21 is laterally moved so that the back of the locating member 27 abuts against the left side of the floor 31 between the upper and lower rack plates 32, 33 of the outer hull block 22. Then, the left and right positions of the floors 25, 31 of the respective blocks 21, 22 are regulated to dispose both floors 25, 31 as reinforcement on a straight line. In this situation, the inner and outer hill blocks 21, 22 are joined to each other.
