Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reliably hold two batteries in a small space.
CONSTITUTION: A pair of batteries 5A, 5B are adjacently laid on a battery tray 3 while keeping a small gap S between them and at the same time the lower ends 18 are fixed in the tray 3 and a plate-like bracket 1 is set straightway in the small gap S. Transverse walls 11, 12 positioned as to touch respective one side edges of both batteries 5A, 5B and a vertical wall 13 rectangularly crossing the transverse walls 11, 12 to keep the gap of the walls 11, 12 are formed in the bracket 1. Engaging holes 14, 15 are formed in the upper end parts of the respective transverse walls 11, 12 of the bracket l and an engaging piece 211 of pressure members 2A, 2B, which is laid from the other side edges 52 along the upper faces of the respective batteries 5A, 5B, is inserted in and engaged with the engaging holes 14, 15. The other ends 22 of the respective pressing members 2A, 2B are joined to the upper ends 41 of J-bolts 4A, 4B extended upward along the other side faces of the respective batteries 5A, 5B by screws.
