Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve mounting efficiency and to make miniaturizing of a device possible by providing a supporting board having a card edge connector and plural disk storage drives mounted on the supporting board.
CONSTITUTION: In an assembled type disk storage device, an array disk board 16 is constituted so that plural magnetic disk drives 1 are mounted on a printed board 2 and this printed board 2 is mounted on a sub-printed board 14. Thereby, since mounting frames or the like are not required for each magnetic disk drive 1, mounting density is improved and miniaturizing a device can be performed. Also, since parts such as a mounting frame or the like are not required, components can be reduced and a more inexpensive device can be realized. Further, it can be mounted on a locker by only inserting a board.
