PURPOSE: To enable high-precision welding assembly by receiving a tack-welded two-wheeled vehicle on a set jig of free boom hoisting, moving and transporting it to a rotative welding jig in a facing and rising state.
CONSTITUTION: A side frame W on a side bed 8 on a rail 7a is moved by a shift cylinder 8a and held by bringing down a side jig 10, then, welded and assembled by a torch 11a of welding robots 11. A set jig 6 on which center members Wa, Wb are set at a set station 1 enters the tack-welding station 2, right and left side frames W are assembled by the rise of the side jig 10 and tack-welded by welding robots 11. The tack-welded frame W is transported by advancing and raising the set jig 6 to a rotative welding jig 17 at the normal welding station 3 and welded normally at a free posture free from distortion by welding robots 13. Accordingly, no special transporting assembling equipment is required, normal welding less in distortion is performed and welding assembling is performed with high accuracy and high efficiency.
