Abstract:

To supply oil at a more economical cost for lubricating a bearing of a balancer shaft.

The assembling structure for the balancer shaft of an engine is provided with a housing, which rotatably supports at least one balancer shaft 16, 18 that is mountable on an engine block, and at the same time, is rotatably connectable to a crankshaft of the engine. The housing is formed by two parts 12, 14, and at the same time, forms a columnar base part 30 to support the balancer shafts 16, 18. A groove 28 is formed on at least one split face of the two fitting parts 12, 14 of the housing, when the two fitting parts 12, 14 are assembled with each other, the groove 28 forms an oil passage, and a lubricating agent is supplied to the columnar base part 30 supporting the balancer shafts 16, 18 by the oil passage.
