Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assist device that eliminates necessity for attaching multiple sensors to the skin of an object person so that the device can be easily fitted to the person, and can assist motion of a body part to be assisted, by simpler configuration and simpler control.SOLUTION: An assist device 60 comprises: body-wearing tools 62, 64 and 35; an output link 30 that is turned around a joint of a body part to be assisted and then fitted to the body part to be assisted; an actuator 40 having an output shaft for generating assist torque; a torque detecting part provided at any position leading from the output link 30 to the output shaft of the actuator 40; torque determining means that determines combined torque produced by combining torque of an object person inputted through the output link by turning the body part to be assisted by own power thereof with the assist torque from the output shaft; and a control device that controls turning angles of the output shaft on the basis of the combined torque.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
