Abstract:
To provide an astral lamp capable of illuminating with uniform brightness in spite of a simple structure.
The astral lamp has a light source consisting of an organic EL device 1. Since the organic EL device 1 emits plane light with its irradiation face 2 in a concave shape, so that shadow by an operator or the like of medical practice is prevented from being cast in an illumination area 3, and the illumination area 3 can be illuminated in uniform brightness. Further, since the organic EL device 1 is structured to have wavelength characteristics of scarcely emitting infrared or ultraviolet rays, it can perform safe illumination in a simpler structure as compared with the case in which an infrared filter or an ultraviolet filter is installed.
