To provide a protective circuit for a power system with equipment cost saved as much as possible, and with trouble areas localized through restraint of the repercussion of short-circuit failure and grounding failures of equipment which are connected in branched manner to a power system.
A serial circuit of a cutout 13 with a tripolar interlocking release function with an expulsion fuse 13a incorporated in free detachment, and a cylindrical cutout 14 with a current-limiting fuse 14a having an interruption function incorporated in free detachment is arranged the power source side of a reactor 12 branch connected to a distribution wire 11. Further, the rated current of the expulsion fuse 13a is set smaller than that of the current-limiting fuse 14a. By the protection coordination of the current-limiting fuse 14a and the expulsion fuse 13a, a given interruption capacity can be secured, to enable protection of the power system from the short-circuiting failures with respect to the reactor 12.
