Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixer of a rotor stator type including a stator having a plurality of openings, and a rotor arranged on the inside of the stator and spaced away from the stator with a predetermined gap, where the mixer can improve shear stress applied to fluid to be processed and exhibit higher performance, and where the mixer can change and adjust the shear stress to be applied to the fluid to be processed, or change and adjust a flowing manner of the fluid to be processed.SOLUTION: A stator is composed of a plurality of stators 12 and 22 having different circumference diameters, and respective rotors 13b to 13f are arranged on the inside of each stator and are spaced away from the stator with a predetermined gap. The stators and the rotors are so constituted that they can come nearer to or farther from each other in an extending direction of a rotation axis 17 of the rotor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 19
