To provide an attaching structure for a frame material for the top board of a table, or the like, by which the frame material can be easily attached to the top board by preventing the attached frame material from being torn off easily when a load is applied.
When a frame material 1 is attached to the peripheral surface 5 of the top board 2 of a table, a belt-like body 7 of the frame material 1 is fixed by the engagement of two engaging pieces 8, 8' and grooves 6, 6' at the upper part and at the lower part, respectively. Accordingly, the frame material 1 is hardly deformable, and the upper/lower parts of the belt-like body 7 are not easily torn off even if a load is applied to the upper/lower parts. In addition, a gap is hardly formed between the peripheral surface 5 of the top board 2 and the inner surface 7a of the belt-like body 7.
