Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attachment structure for stereoscopic camera which generates a three-dimensional distance distribution of an even and satisfactory range for a pickup object.
SOLUTION: A main camera 4 and a sub-camera 5 are so built that they may be inclined toward the main camera 4 side with respect to the axial direction of a vehicle, and therefore the range of the three-dimensional distance distribution of the pickup object which is calculated by a picture processor 6 is made bilaterally symmetrical to the axis of the vehicle.
