Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control encoding processing based on a load supervisory result of signal processing and to reduce processing load at the performing of band division of an audio signal of a multi-channel, when performing encoding transmission.
SOLUTION: This device is provided with band dividing parts 1 and 2, which perform band division of an audio input signal of each channel, high-pass encoders 3 and 4 and low-pass encoders 5 and 6 which perform encoding processing for high-pass side and low-pass side signals respectively, undergoing band division and calculate processing load value, switches 9 and 10 which control the operation or the stop of encoding processing of each high pass encoder, a processing load measuring part 7 which decides the operation or stop of the encoding processing by the high-pass encoder of each channel based on load supervision of the encoding processing, a switch controlling part 8 which selects a switch that controls the operation or stop of the encoding processing of the high-pass encoder of each channel and switches to a stop side, when the processing load measuring part decided that the encoding processing of the high-pass encoders needs to be stopped, and a data multiplexing part 11 which multiplexes the switch control state of each channel as switch control information, together with encoded data.
