Abstract:

PURPOSE: To play a proper accompaniment in any style by switching chords by referring to stored chord progress data when an accompaniment pattern read out of a storage means is chord change information.
CONSTITUTION: A program memory 14, a standard chord progress data memory 24, and a chord progress data memory 16 stored with desired data among many chord progress data stored in the memory 24 as new chord progress data are connected to a CPU 10. Further, an accompaniment data memory 20 stored with various accompaniment patterns is connected. Then a desired accompaniment pattern is read out of the accompaniment data memory 20 in accompaniment order and when the read accompaniment pattern is the chord change information, the chords are switched by referring to the chord progress data in the chord progress data memory 16. Therefore, any accompaniment pattern is changed in chord at the best timing for the pattern.
