Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an automatic ball sorter with which golf balls can be automatically sorted by discriminating propriety.
CONSTITUTION: Golf balls sent at prescribed timing by a sender 20 and guided through a guide beam 2 are dropped from a shooter and successively received by a receiving part 44 of a rotary disk 43 for sorting. The propriety of the golf ball received by the receiving part 44 is discriminated by an image pickup camera 46. Then, a gate is opened or closed based on a propriety discriminate signal, and the golf balls are sorted into the ball fit for use and the unusable ball. Thus, the propriety of golf balls can be automatically discriminated and efficiency for managing the balls to be used at a golf practice range can surely be improved.
