Abstract:

PURPOSE: To eliminate the interruption of the analyzing operation by preventing that fibrin clogs a sampling nozzle or adheres between the sampling nozzle and a liquid level sensor.

CONSTITUTION: In order to remove fibrin from a sample cup 2 immediately before a sample is sucked from a sampling nozzle 20, a fibrin removing device with a fibrin removing probe 22 is set in the vicinity of a transfer line 8, and also a cleaning tank 24 for cleaning the sampling nozzle 20 and the probe 22 is arranged near the sampling nozzle 20 and the probe 22. The fibrin removing probe 22 consists of two conductive rods rotating around a common rotary shaft. When the two rods rotate, fibrin is adhered to the rods and removed.
