Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an automatic choke device of a carburetor for a small-size drive engine such as a hand-held tool, said automatic choke device eliminating difficulty in proper operation of a choke when starting the engine.
CONSTITUTION: A carburetor has a choke means in a fluid passageway 10 extending from an inlet end to an outlet end 12, a venturi 14, a throttle valve 13 and nozzles 16, 17. The choke means has a valve shaft arranged asymmetrically with a valve disc which is at least partially formed of an elastic material such as rubber cloth or the like. Here, the choke means can be opened during operation of an engine.
