Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten time until all telephone terminals joining in a conference are arranged in remote communication conference telephone sets.
SOLUTION: The user of a terminal machine 101 starts a calling initiation procedure and operates a conference start key for establishing the conference telephone call in terminal machines 102, 130 and 104. When the telephone call is made to the other terminal machines, a logic link is established between the respective terminal machines and the terminal machine 101. The telephone call is made to all the terminal machines and the user of the terminal machine 101 executes on-hooking. In the respective terminal machines, indicators associated with conference initiation keys are lighted, The respective terminal machines transmit the idle/busy states of themselves to the terminal machine 101. When all the terminal machines are in the idle states, the terminal machine 101 initiates the conference telephone calls.
