Abstract:
PURPOSE: To facilitate and secure loading of continuous papers with the simple mechanism, and to improve the quality of printing.
CONSTITUTION: A tractor 2, which is to be fitted in a feeding hole of a continuous paper 1 and which carries this continuous paper, is provided, and a paper feeding means 3 such as a paper supplying roller is provided in the upstream of the carrying direction of the tractor 2. A paper detecting means 4 for detecting the tip of the continuous paper 1, which is fed from the paper feeding means 3, is provided direct upstream of the tractor 2. When the tip of the paper is detected by this paper detecting means 4, a tractor control means 5 starts the drive of the tractor 2.
